Music:Salim-Sulaiman

Endeavoring through realistic themes over his previous flicks, ‘Page 3’, ‘Corporates’ and ‘Traffic Signal’, Madhur Bhadharkar gears up spelling one more on the same lines of reality world. Well, for the title, Madhur merely shores on the tagline ‘In the world of Fashion, you will have to give up more than just your morals’. Lives of fashion models are not just about ramp walks and posing for cover pages. Perhaps, they are not the most felicitous entities, but are quite distressing…

What’s so special about this flick? On the button, his previous films were churned out at the low-budgets, but in contrary go this one. Yup! ‘Fashion’ haps to be churned out much lavishly by UTV Productions with Madhur Bhandharkar as its co-producer. The flick has alluring missies Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut and Mugha Godse adding up to the glamour quotients, haunting the young lads. Well, if you’re palpating about extravaganzas of this musical album, its duo combo Salim-Sulaiman tuning in melodies to the scintillating lyrics of Irfan Siddiqui…

Come on! Catch a glimpse over the exclusive music review of Fashion…

Fashion Ka Jalwa
Artists:
Sukwindher Singh, Satya Hinduja and Robert ‘Bob’
Lyricist: Sandeep Nath

It’s not just about tapping your feet; you would feel every rhythmic beats in your senses. To a greater extent, with perfectly engineered beat and fill-ins, the song sounds exuberantly high- spirited with Sukwindher Singh’s penchant vocalism. Well, Satya Hinduja and Robert ‘Bob’ add more enthuse accompanying him. Sandeep Nath’s shibboleth of Fashion World depicted from his perspective is sure to win laurels. With vocals dominating the instruments to some extent, the lyrics are sure to get cross-filed across all the centres. Not many would enjoy, taking on remix of film’s pre-release and may go gaga once it happens over the screen…

Mar Jaava
Artists:
Shruthi Pathak, Salim Merchant
Lyricist: Irfan Siddiqui

Crème de la crème, the most hunky-dory of all songs in this musical album urges you to take heed over and over again. Wow! Coruscating husky voice of Shruthi Pathak and the silver-tongued lyrics infuse with your spirits. The beats are so mild but easily clenches up and Salim Merchant accompanying in preludes adds more colors. Lyrics are simple, yet catchy that makes you cognizant of visual groks. The song flows fluently with medium tempo and you feel it’s new even after listening to umpteen times. Mar Jaava is an ever-cherishing melody that will keep you haunting over the times. Well, the remix version merely doesn’t impress as much the original number. Nevertheless, music buffs may get on it…

Aashiyana
Artists
: Salim Merchant
Lyricist: Irfan Siddiqui

Ever felt the soft rock blended with penchant amorous lyrics and a fantabulous male rendering his voice. Yup! Salim Merchant takes us along with his solo voice and at certain aspects; we feel the most commendable tunes of previous hits as ‘Kya Muje Pyar Hai’ and few more. Hold on! The remix engineered by DJ Amith is sure to hit the dance floors of night clubs for the right blend of mild beats is sure to capture your senses.

Kuch Khaas
Artists:
Mohit Chauhan, Neha Basin
Lyricist: Irfan Siddiqui

You have this song sparking off with melodious tune over piano with balmy-tempo techno beats. Mohit Chauhan and Neha Bhasin with their fantabulous voices mark it with romantic feel. But not sure about how the song would do well, since Fashion doesn’t seem to fall under the genre of romance. Fine! It’s a bit of surprise from Madhur for this is the first time that never touched across the aspects of romance tunes. The rhythmic chords of guitar played all throughout keeps the mild feel. The remix tune like the previous ones sounds zippy in the right momentums and would go straight swaying at car stereos.

Theme of Fashion

Perhaps, the Theme of Fashion takes bit of time to impress you and after heeding to many times, you may start liking it. But, the song is so impressive as it has a singularity of the same note being played in different instruments: Strings, Violin and Santoor blended with a female’s cordial echoing voice at the end has the best out of combo Salim-Sulaiman. Plausibly, guessing about visual percepts of this tune on screen, it may be rendered while models walk on ramps.

Well, it’s the most scintillating remix ever heard during this year. It would urge you to heed over it many times and it’s a musical extravaganza for continuous 6mins.

On the whole, Fashion is the first ever flick that will the audio topping the chart of all seasons. His previous ventures Corporates, Page 3 didn’t work out so much of magic. Hats off to Salim-Sulaiman for their trenchant piece of musical scores…

Verdict: Engrossing your senses

Rating : ***1/2
